RADIOGRAPHER – 1 POSITION

Job Purpose

The Radiographer performs diagnostic imaging examinations safely and accurately to support diagnosis and treatment.

Key Activities and Responsibilities

  • Receive and prepare patients for radiographic examinations.
  • Verify patient identity and examination requests.
  • Perform radiographic procedures according to approved protocols.
  • Position patients correctly and safely.
  • Operate radiographic and imaging equipment.
  • Apply appropriate radiation protection measures.
  • Assess image quality and repeat examinations only when clinically justified.
  • Maintain accurate imaging records.
  • Ensure equipment is clean, safe, and properly maintained.
  • Report equipment faults promptly.
  • Maintain patient privacy and dignity.
  • Follow infection prevention and control procedures.
  • Support appropriate handling and storage of imaging records.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Recognised qualification in Radiography/Medical Imaging.
  • Registration with the relevant professional regulatory body.
  • Valid practising licence.
  • Relevant clinical experience is desirable.
