Job Summary: Reelanalytics is seeking to recruit qualified, detail-oriented, and highly motivated Media Analysts to join our Uganda team based in Kampala. The successful candidates will be responsible for monitoring, translating, transcribing, analysing, and summarising vernacular media content into English, while ensuring accuracy, consistency, and timely delivery of assigned work.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Minimum qualifications and requirements
- Fluency in English and at least one of the following languages (Luganda, Lugbara, or Alur), both spoken and written, is mandatory.
- A minimum of a Diploma from a recognised institution.
- A background in Journalism, Mass Communication, Linguistics, Translation, or a related field will be an added advantage.
- Proficiency in any additional Ugandan dialect or mother tongue will be an added advantage.
- Excellent written English, with strong grammar and sentence construction skills.
- Good computer literacy and the ability to work with digital tools.
