About the client: It's the biggest company in Exhibition and Fairs in Malta.
Job Description:
This position requires an individual who is able to construct, repair and install wooden building frameworks and structures from indoors to outdoors on various projects and tasks depending on the operational needs.
Responsibilities:
• Read blueprints, drawings and sketches to fully grasp requirements
• Take measurements and calculate the size and amount of material needed
• Cut, shape and smooth lumber and other material according to measurements
• Build window frames, doors, staircases and frame buildings by using raw materials or pre-constructed items
• Lay out flooring, roofing’s or drywalls ensuring they are levelled and compatible
• Carve and assemble furniture, cabinets, shelves and other items and install them where designated
• Inspect places and conduct repairs or maintenance
• Build scaffolding and other construction structures
• Performing other related ad-hoc duties, as required from time to time.
Required Experience / Knowledge / Abilities:
• Able to work within a dynamic team
• Able to resolve problems efficiently
• Conversant with Health & Safety guidelines
Education & Training Requirements :
• Previous experiences related to the job
Gross Salary range per month: UGX 4,320,580.77 – UGX 4,655,695.07 + incentive
Terms:
• Contract - 1 years Renewable
• Working hours - 48 hours weekly
• Taxes, food and accommodation - By Employee
Note:
Candidates from India, Nepal and Eastern European countries preferred
CFC = 3200 + Ticket + visa cost extra
Payment Schedule :
• On signing of Agreement/ offer letter - 400
• At the stage of Work permit Documentation - 1000
• On receipt of visa - 1800
