Q-Sourcing Limited trading as Q-Sourcing Servtec is a manpower management solutions firm operating in the East African Region in the countries of Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, and South Sudan.
On behalf of our client, we are looking for a suitable, competent and skilled Process Operator to work in Uganda.
Job Summary:
The Process Operator will be responsible for ensuring effective supervision of all the allocated mixing process, ensure good manufacturing practices are adhered to, ensure promotion of an innovative culture, ensure maximum productivity and efficiency is achieved.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Operate and maintain equipment and processes according to specifications and standard operating procedures;
Ensure good housekeeping is maintained.
Start-up, setup & switch off equipment in a shift;
Proper usage of raw materials in a way that avoids wastages;
Avoid equipment down time by performing routine inspection and arresting of minor breakdowns on an equipment according to the maintenance SOP;
Troubleshoot equipment and process failures;
Complete all required mixing reports/documentation accurately;
Perform housekeeping and work area organization tasks;
Communicate safety, quality, and production issues to peers and production assistants;
Ensure product quality specifications are met;
Perform any other duties and responsibilities as maybe assigned from time to time by the Supervisor.
Financial Management
Monitor and ensure zero waste of across the different mixing processes.
Risk Management
Identify the department’s risks, their various mitigations and keep track of them.
Compliance
Ensure regulatory compliance in execution of activities within Uganda
Adherence to all the Company’s and In Country Policies and Procedures.
Prepare and submit location daily report.

Diploma in Chemical Engineering /chemistry or any other related science from a recognized University.
Awareness in occupational health & safety
2 to 3 years relevant experience in FMCG Industry preferably in a similar role.
