Job Description
The position holder will provide oversight for implementation of the facility-based arm of the community strategy to ensure that effective, functional linkages are established and maintained between the facility and community structures for accelerated epidemic control. S/he will also provide oversight for Differentiated Service Delivery Model, Key Population programming and coordination of Key Population Civil Society Organizations and gender mainstreaming.
Qualifications Job Requirements: A Bachelors Degree in Development Studies/Social Sciences/Community Psychology/ or other related field plus 3 years experience in Community/Public Health Programmes. The successful candidate must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in implementing Community based health programs; demonstrable experience in implementing MOH and PEPFAR Community Health Frameworks; experience with Participatory Community Approaches, ability to influence behavioral change and Strong partnership and collaborative skills. All applicants must have a Non-judgmental approach to human relations; be in sympathy with Mildmay Uganda’s Christian values; possess good communication and interpersonal skills; and must be able to maintain good working relationships with clients and colleagues. Customer focus is paramount.
