Location:
Iraq-Karbala City
Reports to: Site Manager & Project Manager
Salary: 1500 $/month
Approximately UGX 5,550,000
Requirements:
- Qualifications: Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering
- Computer literate with excellent oral and written communication skills
- Experience - Min. 8-12 years relevant work exp, GCC experience is a must
- Knowledge of Framework & Finishes theories and practices and Infrastructure works.
Purpose:
• To provide support for the Framework (Cast in Situ & Hollow-Core) and finished works such as (Plastering, False ceiling, painting, Handrails,..) as well as External works and Infrastructure.
Job Responsibilities:
• Responsible for implementing and managing the Frame work Practice, QA/QC plan for the Finished works and external works / Infrastructure.
• Make routine inspections for the Framework, finishes works, External work and
• Infrastructure works at site on daily basis and close all submitted RFI's In order to raise the daily progress reports and release the contractors payments.
• Coordinate with the QA & QC, Site Manager and Project Manager regarding work performance to the satisfaction of the Project Consultants.
• Provide Logistic support to the project subcontractors at site.
• Coordinate to Ensure that Non-Conformance Report (NCR) are raised once the activities deviated from the Project Specifications or normal construction industry practices.
• Coordinate with the project staff to compile and maintain pertinent records of inspection and testing until the end of the contract.
• Attend Weekly Progress Meetings and follow up on all related issues/matters.
Internal / External Communications:
• Internally with QA/QC, Site Manager, Project Manager and other Departments in line with the project quality procedures.
Special Requirements / Features:
• Knowledge of environmental management systems and vast experience in finishes works
• Residence shall be provided by the company with 3 meals/day free of cost.
• Working hours shall be 10 hrs/ day.
• Working days - 6 days
• Accommodation, Food & Medical - By Company
• Transportation - The camp is at site
• Joining Ticket - By Company
• Contract - 2 years
• Employment Visa - By Company
