HQTS Group is a leading inspection, verification, testing and certification company from Asia with more than 500 employees and operations in 30 countries.Our Uganda office is seeking a Liaison Manager from Uganda to grow up together.

Description and Responsibilities
HQTS Group is looking for a local Liaison Manager in Uganda to join our Uganda office. The successful candidate shall:
1. Have good knowledge of the procedure and product standards/regulation against Uganda Pre-Export Verification of Conformity to Standards Programme (PVoC) and/ or Oil and Gas equipment inspection. Stay abreast with changes in the relevant areas, as well as developments in norms and regulations;
2. Responsible for liaison with authorities, ensure good relations,cooperation and sharing of relevant information between the organization and authorities ;
3. Strong in local market analysis and business development;
4. Work closely with the relevant offices and the Head Office to resolve any issues as may be raised by the authorities?

Skills/Qualifications
1. Bachelor Degree
2. Strong in customer/ government relationship development and maintenance;
3. Good knowledge of product standards/ regulations against Uganda PVOC program and oil & gas equipment;
4. Excellent listening, writing and communication skills
5. Outstanding analytical skills
6. Determined and self-motivated
7. Able to work equally well alone or as part of a team
8. International travel is required
9. Previous experience in a related field is a plus.
