JOB DETAILS:
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare a variety of cakes, pastries, breads, dessert: and baked product
- Monitor ingredient usage, stock levels and food costs.
- Develop creative desserts and attractive pastry presentations
- Ensure consistency in taste, quality and presentation.
- Plan daily pastry production for hotel outlets, breakfast, buffets and events
Qualifications:
- Certificate or Diploma in Pastry and Bakery Arts, Culinary Arts or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in pastry production, preferably in a four-star or five-star hotel
- Strong practical skills in cake making, pastry production, dessert preparation and decoration.
- Knowledge of baking techniques, food costing and portion control.
- Creativity, attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
