Qualification
Applicants should be Ugandans holding an Honours Bachelor of Science Degree in Geology with (Chemistry or Physics or Mathematics); or Geoscience from a recognized University/Institution.
Working Experience
Duties
The incumbent will be responsible to the Senior Geologist for performing the following duties:-
- Carrying out geological mapping and mineral exploration;
- Interpreting geological and geochemical exploration results;
- Training of Assistant Geological Officers in fieldworks and camp maintenance;
- Preparing geological maps and technical reports for publication;
- Preparing detailed assessment of mineral occurrences to promote mineral investment;
