SENIOR ENGINEER (DRILLING)
Description
Qualification
Applicants should be Ugandans holding an Honours Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering; or Drilling Engineering; or Geosciences; or Geothermal from a recognized University/Institution. Possession of a Post Graduate Diploma in Geothermal Energy Technology will be an added advantage.
Working Experience
Applicants should have three (3) years relevant working experience at the level of Engineer (Drilling) in Government or equivalent level of experience from a reputable organization.
Duties
The incumbent will be responsible to the Principal Engineer (Reservoir) for performing the following duties:-
- Supervising reservoir engineering studies to evaluate geothermal potential;
- Undertaking geothermal exploration research and development studies;
- Participating in the preparation of selected geothermal resource profiles for investment promotion;
- Participating in preparation of technical reports and maps for filing and publication;
- Participating in preparation of work plans, budgets and performance reports;
- Participating in designing, drilling, testing, logging of geothermal wells;
