Job Description

1. Support and maintain day-to-day repair activities in workshop
2. Develop and manage rotating equipment’s repair programs, evaluating equipment performance, recommending improvements and new technologies
3. Rotating equipment and valve repairs as well as conducting failure analysis reports for all equipment defects and failures and lead the maintenance team for performing investigation and troubleshooting activities.
4. Handle active maintenance work orders that includes ordering material, carryout shutdown jobs and new work and upgrades.
5. Provide technical expertise to reduce repetitive failures of rotating equipment in addition to supporting maintenance activities.
6. Coordinate repair & maintenance programs with end users to determine relative priorities and on-time completion of work in critical jobs with available workforce.
7. Plan assigned jobs, analyze and sequence all work requests; estimate required manpower, justify when necessary any requests for additional manpower and overtime work.
8. Coordinate maintenance work between other internal Maintenance Divisions when services from various divisions are required

Qualifications, Responsibilities and Skill

1. Qualification: Bachelor degree in Mechanical Minimum of 5 years of experience with advance knowledge and experience in the field of Rotating Equipment’s repairs and commissioning as well as Piping systems in addition to machining & metal spray.
2. Practical knowledge and experience in repair maintenance methods & practices including pipelines & platforms structures repairs, welding & fabrication procedures, coating systems and material science.
3. Experience in Mechanical Maintenance of Rotary equipments
4. Preventive, Corrective & Shutdown Maintenance of : Centrifugal Pump (Back pullout/Vertically split, End supported/Horizontally split, Multistage, Vertical, Submersible), HP Centrifugal Compressor (Multistage, Horizontally split/Barrel Type, Integrally geared),
5. Centrifugal Blowers / Fans, Steam Turbines (Single / Multistage, Condensing / Back Pressure), Gear pumps, Metering pumps, Reciprocating Compressors, Axial and Radial Air Compressors, Cooling Tower Fans and GearBoxes, Shaft Alignment, Mechanical / Gas seal assembly,
6. Associated ancillary equipment like Lube oil skids, Hydraulic skids, Speed Changing Gear Units
7. Experience with the interpretation of technical operating manuals, drawings, catalogues and reports.
