About the Role
Lafab Solutions is looking for a Casual Workers Management Trainee to support the sourcing, coordination and management of casual, temporary and seasonal workers for client assignments.
The role involves recruiting workers, maintaining worker records, matching workers to assignments, coordinating deployments, monitoring attendance and supporting both workers and clients throughout the assignment.
The successful candidate will use our Casual Workers Management System to keep worker and assignment information organised and up to date.
Key Responsibilities
- Source and register casual workers through approved recruitment channels and referrals.
- Maintain accurate worker profiles, skills, availability and work history.
- Support worker vetting and onboarding.
- Understand client staffing requirements and match suitable workers to assignments.
- Coordinate worker schedules and deployment.
- Communicate reporting instructions and assignment details to workers.
- Monitor attendance and follow up on no-shows or late arrivals.
- Maintain regular communication with clients, workers and site supervisors.
- Record worker performance, feedback and incidents.
- Assist with replacements when workers become unavailable.
- Maintain accurate assignment and attendance records for payment processing.
- Resolve routine workforce issues and escalate serious matters when necessary.
- Keep all worker and assignment information updated in the management system.
- Help maintain a reliable pool of workers for future assignments.
Requirements
- Certificate, Diploma or Degree in any relevant field.
- Good spoken and written English.
- Good computer and smartphone skills.
- Comfortable using WhatsApp, email and web-based systems.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good organisation and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure.
- Reliable, proactive and responsive.
- Willingness to learn and follow established processes.
Experience in recruitment, HR, workforce management, customer service or field operations is an advantage, but not required.
