Responsibilities
- Ensure the safety and security of learners, staff, visitors and school property.
- Monitor access to and from the school premises and maintain appropriate visitor controls.
- Conduct regular patrols of the assigned areas.
- Report suspicious activities, security incidents, hazards or breaches promptly.
- Maintain accurate security records, including visitor and incident registers.
- Enforce school security procedures and respond appropriately to emergencies.
- Safeguard school property and ensure that unauthorised persons do not gain access to restricted areas.
- Perform other security-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Minimum of a relevant secondary school qualification.
- Previous experience in security work will be an added advantage.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physically fit, alert and disciplined.
- High level of integrity, confidentiality and responsibility.
- Ability to remain calm and professional when handling challenging situations.
- Basic knowledge of first aid and emergency procedures will be an added advantage.
