In a residential district, this upscale hotel is 1 km from Kampala National Theatre, 2 km from Kampala railway station and 3 km from Uganda Museum.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve quality coffee, including, cappuccino, latte, espresso, Americana and specialty beverages.
- Operate and maintain espresso machines, grinders and other coffee equipment.
- Ensure consistency in beverage quality, taste and presentation.
- Monitor coffee supplies, manage stock and minimise wastage.
- Promote beverage sales through upselling.
Qualifications:
- Certificate or Diploma in Hospitality, Food Beverage Service and Barista Training.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Barista preferably in a hotel, restaurant or specialty coffee shop
- Practical knowledge of espresso preparation, milk steaming and latte art.
- Good understanding of coffee varieties and brewing methods.
- Excellent customer service, communication and teamwork skills
