Nexus Green Limited a renewable energy solution provider, working in Africa’s emerging markets, is seeking to fill the vacancy of a Videographer. Below is the Job description.

JOB PURPOSE & MAIN MISSIONS:
A videographer is responsible for planning, filming, capturing Photos, and editing videos and Photos that should be used for the Company’s social media channels, advertisements, or television shows.

JOB ROLES AND EXPECTATIONS:
Responsibilities:
1. Drive video and photography projects through from pre-production to the post-production process to achieve interesting video content whilst maintaining brand integrity.
2. Coordinate with Marketing and stakeholders to conceptualise video and photography ideas all the way to the shoot and post-production.
3. Take ownership of pre-production, shooting, editing, production, and post-production, editing from scratch, relying on creative instincts and industry best practices.
4. Selection and implementation of special visual effects, music, and special audio for each video shoot Converting videos shot in-house videos that were outsourced to the proper format for different marketing and social media channels.
5. Partner with corporate communications and leadership to elevate internal communications through video.
6. Creates quality multimedia storytelling using photography, videography, and text that accurately informs entertains, and engages our audiences.
7. Works with the content creator to evaluate what's working and what's not, and develops ongoing plans to better satisfy audience needs.

COMPETENCIES:
Required Skills & Personal Qualities Required:
1. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
2. Must be well-versed with canva
3. Extremely proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and desktop publishing software.
4. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS:
1. Bachelor’s degree in any related field.
2. Experience in Videography and Photography.
3. Proficiency with required desktop publishing tools, including canva, Photoshop, InDesign Quark, and Illustrator.
4. A strong eye for visual composition.
5. Effective time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
6. Able to give and receive constructive criticism.
7. Understanding of marketing, production, website design, corporate identity, product packaging, advertisements, and multimedia design.
8. Experience with computer-aided design.
