About the Role
We are looking for a dynamic, results-driven Sales and Distribution Officer to manage and expand our airtime and SIM card distribution network. In this field-based role, you will drive revenue growth, onboard new retailers, ensure optimal stock availability, and maintain strict compliance with telecom regulatory standards.
Responsibilities Include:
- Inventory & Stock Management: Ensure all assigned retail outlets maintain optimal stock levels of airtime, SIM cards, and ETU balances to prevent stockouts
- Target Achievement: Drive widespread distribution of ETU airtime and SIM cards, consistently meeting or exceeding assigned monthly sales and growth targets
- Retailer Recruitment & Expansion: Actively prospect and onboard new retail partners to expand market footprint for SIM card sales and ETU recharges
- Database Management: Maintain and update a comprehensive, active retailer database and implement retention strategies for at-risk accounts
- Tools of Trade Maintenance: Regularly inspect and support maintenance of fingerprint scanners (Mantras) and registration devices
- Trade Marketing & Branding: Enhance brand visibility by ensuring retail outlets are correctly branded with company-provided assets including posters, ABS boards, and stickers
- Technical Support & Training: Provide hands-on guidance, training, and troubleshooting to retailers regarding customer sales, registration workflows, and after-sales support
- Reporting: Maintain accurate system records of onboarded retailers and submit detailed weekly performance reports
Background, Skills & Experience
- Minimum Diploma in a relevant business, sales, or technical discipline
- At least 2 years of proven field sales and distribution experience, ideally within telecommunications
- Valid motorcycle riding permit and comfortable with field-based travel
- Deep familiarity with SIM card registration guidelines, legal compliance frameworks, and SOPs
- Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
- High level of accountability and self-motivation
