JOB DETAILS:

B&G hospitality is recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced and hands-on Restaurant Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of a restaurant and bar in Ntinda. This role is ideal for a Restaurant Manager who can confidently answer: “How is the restaurant performing operationally, and is it making money?” We are looking for someone who understands that great hospitality and commercial discipline must work together.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily restaurant and bar operations.
• Lead, schedule, coach and manage the service team.
• Maintain high standards of customer service, hygiene and presentation.
• Drive sales, upselling and overall guest satisfaction.
• Monitor P&L, food and beverage costs, labour costs and operational expenses.
• Manage stock, wastage, cash and POS controls.
• Monitor sales and operational performance and provide regular reports.
• Coordinate with suppliers and ensure operational requirements are met.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, revenue and profitability.

What Were Looking For:

• Minimum 3 years experience in restaurant, bar, hotel or hospitality management.
• Proven experience leading a restaurant or hospitality team.
• Strong understanding of P&L and restaurant cost management.
• Experience with stock control, cash handling and POS systems.
• Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Hands-on, commercially aware and customer-focused.
• Comfortable working evenings, weekends and public holidays.

Eligibility;

Open to Ugandan nationals and candidates legally resident in Uganda. Candidates must be available to work in Ntinda, Kampala.

Experience in Months: 36

Level of Education: bachelor degree
