Join the DHL International Uganda Limited Team as Fixed Term Lead Qualifier!

As a Lead Qualifier you will be responsible for identifying, screening, and qualifying potential customers to ensure that high-quality sales opportunities are passed on to the sales team. The role focuses on outbound prospecting, inbound lead assessment, customer engagement, database management, and supporting revenue growth by maintaining a healthy sales pipeline.
Responsibilities
- Review inbound and outbound sales leads, contact prospective customers via phone, email, and other channels.
- Quality leads against predefined criteria and sales standards.
- Schedule meetings or hand overqualified prospects to the sales team.
- Conduct introductory calls to understand customer requirements, build positive relationships with prospects, and maintain regular follow-up.
- Address initial customer inquiries professionally and promptly and maintain accurate records in the CRM system.
- Track lead status and progression through the sales funnel.
- Ensure timely follow-up and nurturing of leads.
- Generate reports on leads, conversions, and pipeline activity and offer administrative support to the commercial team.
- Support marketing campaigns by providing customer insights and feedback and escalating timely where necessary.
- Work closely with Sales, Customer Service, and Operations teams and all departments to ensure timely customer support.
Qualifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Prospecting and lead qualification techniques, with excellent telephone and customer engagement skills.
- CRM and sales analytics proficiency.
- Time management and organizational, negotiation and influencing skills.
- Attention to detail and data accuracy, customer-focused mindset.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, Sales, or related field.
- 2-4 years’ experience in sales support, lead generation, telemarketing, or business development.
