Qualification
Applicants should be Ugandans holding an Honours Bachelor of Science Degree in Physics or Physics and Mathematics or Seismology or Geophysics or Geology with (Mathematics or Physics) or Science and Technology with a bias in Physics plus a Masters Degree in Geophysics with a bias in Mineral Exploration from a recognized University / Institution.
Working Experience
Applicants should have six (6) years relevant working experience three (3) of which should have been served at Senior Geophysicist level in Government or equivalent level of experience from a reputable organization.
Duties
The incumbent will be responsible to the Assistant Commissioner Exploration for performing for performing the following duties:-
- Supervising execution of geophysical field campaigns for mineral resources exploration;
- Supervising the calibration and maintenance of all geophysical equipment;
- Supervising systematic geophysical data analysis and interpretation and production of geophysical maps;
