JOB DETAILS:
AUTOMOBILE ELECTRICIAN
FOR PLANT & LIGHT VEHICLES (WORKSHOP)
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Diagnose and repair vehicle electrical faults involving wiring, lighting systems, batteries, alternators, starters, fuses, relays and other electrical components.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance of vehicle electrical systems.
- Inspect, test and repair electronic components and systems.
- Install, repair and replace the vehicle electrical accessories and components.
- Perform electrical tests and functional checks after repairs to ensure that all systems operate correctly and vehicles are safe for use.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, faults identified, repairs completed, spare parts used and outstanding maintenance requirements and promptly report major defects to the supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- A Diploma or Degree in Automobile Electrical Engineering, Automobile & Power Engineering or related field
