School For Life Foundation (SFL) formerly United Future Foundation Uganda (UFFU), is a not-for-profit organisation that operates 03 schools in Mpigi district, delivering holistic education to primary and secondary students in two campuses located in Mbazzi and one in Katuuso. As a result of planned organisational growth, vacancies exist for motivated, competent and experienced professionals to join our team.

Position: Head of Finance (01 vacancy)

Duties and responsibilities
• To provide leadership, direction and management of the finance team. Initiate, develop, and monitor the implementation of policies, systems and procedures for managing finance and accounting activities and ensure compliance with all of the organisation's fi-nancial and statutory responsibilities.

Person specification
• Minimum six (06) years' experience in a similar fi-nance role a not-for-profit organisation(s).
• Proven expertise in the use of accounting software packages. Proficiency in MYOB and QuickBooks is highly desirable.
• High level proficiency in Microsoft Office, particular-ly Word and Excel.
