Qualification
Applicants should be Ugandans holding a Diploma in Mineral Resource Management; or Surveying; or Mining; or Engineering; or Land Management from a recognized University/Institution. A Post Graduate Diploma or training in Mineral Policy and Law; or Mining Surveying; or Mining Engineering and Management will be an added advantage.
Working Experience
Applicants should have three (3) years relevant working experience at the level of Mines Warden in Government or equivalent level of experience from a reputable organization
Duties
The incumbent will be responsible to the Senior Inspector of Mines for performing the following duties:-
- Settling of Disputes between applicants, licensees and land owners;
- Participating in the inspection and monitoring of mining operations;
- Supervising rehabilitation of mined out areas;
- Carrying out mine surveys;
- Participating in the establishment of boundaries of mineral rights;
