ASSISTANT RECEIVING SUPERVISOR

Q-Sourcing Limited trading as Q-Sourcing Servtec is a manpower management solutions firm operating in the East African Region in the countries of Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, and South Sudan.
On behalf of our client, we are looking for a suitable, competent and skilled Assistant Receiving Supervisor to work in Uganda.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Receiving inbound inventory both physically and electronically
Inspection of inbound stock and ensuring that they are not damaged
Verification of products according to purchase order and invoices (quantity, quality, price etc.)
Contact procurement and escalate if a problem is identified
Maintain accurate records and assist in inventory control
Qualification and Skills
Undergraduate Degree in Supply Chain Management engineering or business. MBA desirable
Minimum 10 years Fleet, Logistics & Transportation management related working experiences and 5 years managerial experience in FMCG, or Courier industry
Familiar with logistics operation & safety related laws & regulations
Proficient in both written and oral English
Systems experience would be an advantage
Microsoft Office productivity packages, internet and e-mail-intermediary
At least 5 years’ experience in Supply Chain Operations-Direct and indirect responsibility for Logistics functions during this period of time.

Excellent understanding of logistics performance management tools, and strategic logistics processes
Excellent understanding of outsourced services management
Excellent understanding of customer relationship management processes
Excellent understanding of international logistics & commercial relationships
Good skills in managing a logistics process within an ERP environment including knowledge of commerce
