Qualification
Applicants should be Ugandans holding a Diploma in Mineral Resource Management or Surveying or Mining or Engineering or Land Management from a recognized University/Institution.
Working Experience
Duties
The incumbent will be responsible to the Senior Assistant Inspector of Mines for performing the following duties:-
- Assisting in the inspections and monitoring of exploration and mining operations;
- Assisting in awareness campaigns and sensitization in the mining industry;
- Participating in Inspection of support systems, electrical and mechanical equipment in mining operations;
- Participating in monitoring the use of explosives and other hazardous chemicals in mineral exploration, mining and mineral processing;
- Assisting in compilation and validation of mineral productions, royalties, exports and imports;
