Research Technician – ABBB Pre-Breeding
Description
Ensure that all trials are designed in Musabase and every sample carries a barcode.
? Compile and clean the data for quality and upload them to Musabase.
? Run preliminary (basic) statistics on quality data from Food Science laboratories.
? Any other duties as assigned by the banana molecular breeder or research associate.
Required qualifications and skills Required:
? B.Sc. degree in Agriculture, or related field
? Keen on details, passionate fast learner, able to work independently and as a part of a
diverse team.
? Computer proficiency including MS Office (Word/ PowerPoint, excel)
? Ability to complete multiple tasks under pressure and work in a multi-cultural team
environment.
? Experience working with banana research is an advantage
