PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
To advice or sensitize prospective and existing customers on BRAC Uganda Bank’s agricultural loan product and cross sell other financial products and services.
MAIN JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Carry out training of clients on financial literacy and other relevant training.
- Guiding clients to fill loan application forms and attach relevant documents in line with BUBL’s loan requirements.
- Conduct loan appraisals through undertaking field visits to loan applicant’s homes, agribusiness and locations of property/securities to be pledged to BUBL as collateral where required.
- Disburse approved loans to clients on daily basis in line with the set performance targets.
- Appraise loan applicants’ character, credit histories and conduct reference checks to ascertain willingness to repay the loan.
- Monitor outstanding loans and performance of the loan portfolio daily.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS.
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Crop Science, Agricultural Economics /Agriculture related course.
KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE & COMPETENCIES
- Strong written, verbal communication and presentation skills and the ability to convince a client.
- Computer knowledge especially in Microsoft Office suite for MS word and Excel.
- Able to work in a team.
- Ability to ride a motorcycle.
