PROCUREMENT REFERENCE NO: UCC/NCONS/22-23/00086
1. The Uganda Communications Commission (UCC) has allocated funds to be used towards interventions to increase ICT usage by stimulating demand among unserved and underserved segments of society.
2. The Uganda Communications Commission now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders to undertake the onboarding digital literacy campaign in 30 selected village locations to create awareness aimed at boosting usage of the tablet devices that will be supplied by UCC. The main goal of the assignment is to equip beneficiaries from the selected communities with competencies (knowledge, skills and attitudes) in the safe and ethical use of digital technology needed to access services, create learning opportunities, to pursue their chosen careers, become entrepreneurs and to contribute to society as active citizens.
3. Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the Open Domestic Bidding a procedure contained in the Government of Uganda's Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act, 2003, and is open to all bidders.

5. The Bidding Documents in English Language may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application to the address below at 8(b) and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of UShs 100,000 (Uganda Shillings one Hundred Thousand only) or an equivalent in convertible foreign currency. The method of payment will be by cash to the bank account of Uganda Communications Commission at Stanbic Bank Uganda Ltd, Corporate Branch, Crested Towers, Kampala as follows: Ug.Shs A/C No. 9030005759004.
6. Bids must be delivered to the physical address below at 8(c) at or before 13th April 2023 at 10.00am. Late bids shall be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders' representatives who choose to attend at the address below at 8(d) at 10.15 am on 13th April 2023.
7. There shall be a pre-bid meeting on 30th March 2023 at 11.00am, at UCC House Bugolobi.
