Jubilee Health Insurance Company of Uganda Limited (JHICU) wishes to recruit young, competent, energetic, flexible and committed persons to fill the following position in the Company.

ROLE PURPOSE
To identify opportunities for business growth and create marketing strategies based on those opportunities in order to meet and exceed revenue goals as well as provide leadership and direction to the Brokers channel of business thus achieving the delivery of the Budget and establishing Jubilee Health Insurance as preferred Number one insurer.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Establish and build new relationships with existing & new Brokers that have prospective business.
2. Manage partnerships and maintain existing Broker relationships in order to protect existing books of business.
3. Building a master database of tangible leads from which monthly qualified prospects for Corporate, SME, Jcare & Jsenior are developed.
4. Produce accurate, quality and timely reports for production and management review of performance.
5. Co-ordinate any marketing campaigns to prospects.
6. Developing and pitching ideas for potential investors.
7. Provide feedback to the underwriting department to ensure quality service and underwriting standards are maintained.
8. Assist Brokers with product and business queries
9. Demonstrate business planning skills to achieve visitation & sales targets
10. Develop and implement a marketing strategy that is able to foster the achievement of set business goals in respect to top line, profitability, market share, client recruitment, etc.
11. Drive growth, product and sales training among Brokers distribution channels so as to ensure maximum client reach and profitability of the relevant channels at appropriate cost levels.
12. Drive market research that is aimed at identifying new business potential and participate in the development of new products to fill special market niches
13. Set customer care/service standards for the company and monitor to ensure that these are met.
14. Monitor that quality incentive schemes that help to drive the achievement of business goals are developed and implemented by Brokers.
15. Monitor competitor activity and advise the senior management team on opportunities/threats that are presented by such activities.
16. Any other duties that may be assigned by your supervisor in line with the strategic plan.

QUALIFICATIONS
1. Bachelor’s Degree in a Business – Related field from a recognized University.
RELEVANT EXPERIENCE
1. Minimum of Three (3) years’ experience in a similar role within the financial services industry preferably in the insurance industry.
