JOB DETAILS:
UGANET with support from UN Women seeks to recruit VAWG Prevention and SRHR Officers.
Position Title:
VAWG Prevention and SRHR Officer
Duty stations
: Kampala and Refugee Settlements of Adjumani, Yumbe, Terego and Kyegegwa
Positions
: 5
Reports to:
Head, Gender Equality and VAW Prevention
Duration
: 3years with a possibility to renew.
Required Academic Background, Experience and Person specifications:
1. Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Social Sciences or other related field.
2. At least 3(Three) years of Experience working in an NGO Setting. Knowledge about SASA! Methodology.
3. Any additional Course or Certificate in gender and women studies will be an added advantage.
4. Knowledge in sexual reproductive health rights-would be an advantage.
5. A strong and self-driven person with ability to work with grass root communities and district leaders.
6. Knowledgeable about the local ecosystems of the district, and can fluently speak the local languages.
