Description
Tavola Restaurant is looking for a skilled and passionate Chef to join our kitchen team.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare and cook dishes according to established recipes and standards.
- Maintain consistency in taste, presentation and portion sizes
- Ensure proper food handling, hygiene and sanitation standards
- Manage food preparation and kitchen operations efficien
- Monitor stock levels and minimize food wastage
- Work closely with the kitchen and service teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Maintain a clean, organized and safe kitchen environment
- Assist with menu preparation and development where required
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
- Proven experience working as a Chef in a restaurant or similar establishment
- Culinary training/certification is an added advantage
- Good knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques and kitchen hygiene
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Attention to detail and commitment to food quality
- Good time management and organizational skills
