About Organisation:
The Kitovu Cathedral Foundation was established by the Right Reverend Severus Jjumba, Bishop of Masaka Diocese, in December 2022 to mobilise resources and support the improvement and development of Kitovu Cathedral and its associated facilities.
Job Summary: Working through volunteers, donors and partners, the Foundation seeks to preserve and enhance the Cathedral’s heritage while supporting priority development projects for future generations. The Foundation is seeking a dynamic, self-motivated and results-oriented individual to lead its fundraising, stakeholder engagement, communications and donor management activities.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain relationships with donors, sponsors, partners and other stakeholders.
- Manage and grow the Foundation’s donor and stakeholder database.
- Coordinate fundraising campaigns and resource mobilisation activities.
- Identify new funding opportunities and support proposal development.
- Manage the Foundation’s website, social media and communication platforms.
- Prepare newsletters, donor updates, publicity materials and reports.
- Organise stakeholder engagement and donor appreciation activities.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Business Administration, Development Studies, Public Relations or any other related field.
- At least 2 years’ relevant experience in fundraising, communications, stakeholder engagement, donor relations or business development.
- Experience in database management, digital communications and social media management.
- Strong computer, communication and organisational skills.
