Pediatric and Adolescent HIV Prevention, Care and Treatment Quality Improvement (QI) Coach, Jinja, Uganda
Using site level data, identify and address capacity building gaps for health workers and Work Improvement Teams (WIT) in pediatric and adolescent HIV care and treatment.
Work with the facility health care workers to establish baseline data/values for the key pediatric QI indicators (PMTCT/EID, ped and adolescent case identification, linkage, retention, ART optimization, viral load monitoring and suppression) that will facilitate implementation progress monitoring.
Required Experience & Qualifications
Diploma holder in medicine, nursing, public health and other health related fields.
A minimum of 3 years' service delivery experience, especially in Pediatric and Adolescent HIV prevention, care and treatment and quality improvement at health facility level.
Clear understanding of current Uganda ART guidelines, Differentiated Service Delivery Models (DSDM) guidelines and pediatric ART optimization guidelines.
Experience working with or within a government institution or NGO, especially in an integrated health programming context.
