Responsibilities:
Build technical competencies of facility health care providers in newborn health services through trainings, onsite mentorships and peer to peer learning meetings.
Develop and timely submit work plans and budgets for all assigned Newborn Health activities at least quarterly
Design and implement technical strategies in to ensure the RHITES-N, Acholi newborn health Activities are in line with internationally and locally documented best practices and standards.
Qualification:
A Bachelor’s Degree in Medicine and surgery with a background in Obstetrics and gynecology and/or with wide experience in implementing maternal and newborn health services. Possession of a Master of Medicine (Obs/Gyn) or Public health is an added advantage
At least five years’ work experience in MNH gained through serving within a government institution or NGO with proven ability to coordinate activities of different stakeholders at district and or sub national level.
