Description

NATIONAL PROJECT PERSONNEL - NATIONAL ONE HEALTH SPECIALIST, Kampala, Uganda

Participate in the preparation of background documents and periodic progress reports.
Maintain regular communication with the FAO-WHO-OIE country project team and in particular with the One Health Coordinator Africa, FAO headquarters project colleagues regarding the implementation and progress of the activities.
Produces end of assignment report including all the activities implemented and designations and contact details of key stakeholders in the country.
Any other duties as required.
CANDIDATES WILL BE ASSESSED AGAINST THE FOLLOWING

Minimum Requirements

Advanced University Degree in veterinary or biological sciences and relevant post-graduate training or experience in epidemiology, public health, risk assessment or in a discipline relevant to the management; At least 5 years of proven experience in the management and implementation of One Health related projects with multidisciplinary teams from animal and public health sectors;
Excellent English, written and oral communication skills.
A working Knowledge of either French or Spanish would be of added advantage.
