Gender and Protection Officer – UNDP Grant
Contribute the mainstreaming of GBV and child protection issues in WV Uganda programs, particularly in health, nutrition, resilience and livelihoods and food programming.
Facilitate the introduction of new, innovative and context friendly practices on GBV prevention and response and/or child protection
Qualifications: Education/Knowledge/Technical Skills and Experience.
A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Community Psychology, Mental Health related courses Human Rights, Law, international Development, or related fields;
Certificate courses in IASC Guidelines and key training packages preferred especially Caring for Child Survivors of Sexual Violence, psychological First Aid in Emergencies, CPiE Minimum Standards, and GBV IMS, International Humanitarian & Human Rights Law Foundations.
