JOB DETAILS:
We are seeking two (2) dynamic, strategic and results-oriented Regional Sales Managers to drive sales growth, expand market share and strengthen distribution networks across assigned regions.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and implement regional sales strategies to achieve revenue and market share targets.
- Lead, coach and manage Territory Sales Managers and field sales teams.
- Drive sales of telecom products and services, including SIM cards, mobile money, voice and data.
- Expand distribution networks through dealers, distributors, retailers and sales agents.
- Identify new business opportunities and establish strategic partnerships.
- Monitor regional sales performance and ensure achievement of agreed KPIs.
- Conduct market visits, analyse competitor activities and identify growth opportunities.
- Prepare sales reports and implement corrective action plans.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulatory requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, Commerce or a related field.
- 5–7 years of relevant sales experience, preferably in the telecommunications industry.
- At least 3 years in a senior sales leadership or regional management position.
- Proven experience managing multiple territories, sales teams and distribution networks.
- Demonstrated ability to develop sales strategies and consistently achieve targets.
- Telecom distribution and mobile money experience is an added advantage.
REQUIRED COMPETENCIES
- Strong sales leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship management abilities.
- Strong business development and commercial acumen.
- Excellent analytical, planning and problem-solving skills.
- Results-oriented with the ability to work under pressure.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and sales reporting tools.
