PROJECT TRAVEL LIAISON OFFICER

Q-Sourcing Limited trading as Q-Sourcing Servtec is a manpower management solutions firm operating in the East African Region in the countries of Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, and South Sudan.
We are looking for a competent, skilled and experienced Project Travel Liaison Officer work in Uganda.
Job Title: Project Travel Liaison Officer
Reporting: Projects/Accounts Manager
Primary Responsibility:
The Project Travel Liaison Officer (PTLO) will be responsible and accountable for travel logistics
for WQS Recruitment Services/Q-Sourcing Expats and local contractors. The PTLO will work
within the project management team to ensure efficient and cost-effective travel solutions for
expats and local contractors.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
Develop and manage travel plans for both local and expatriate contractors, while ensuring timely and efficient travel arrangements.
Maintain and manage the travel budget, making cost-effective decisions while meeting project requirements.
Deliver approved travel plans and budget, and present detailed travel plans and budget reports to management.
Map out itineraries for individuals travelling overseas, to minimize layovers and freight times between the start of the journey and the destination.
Liaison with pre-qualified suppliers to deliver approved travel plans.
Maintain a weekly travel dashboard, keeping real-time records of travel activities, expenses, and schedules for review.
Manage in-country logistics for both local and expatriate contractors.
Required Experience and Competencies:
Previous experience in corporate/business travel is essential.
Good knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word and Power point is essential.
Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
Effective time management and team support skills are crucial.
Desire to learn and grow within the role.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Strong understanding and experience in international travel planning and potential bottlenecks.
