1 Qualifications
a) Master’s degree in Economics or Statistics from a recognized Institution of higher
learning
b) An Honors Bachelor’s degree in Economics or Statistics from a recognized Institution of higher learning
c) A minimum of eight (8) years relevant working experience, five (5) of which must have been at senior management level in a large and reputable organization or institution.
d) Age limit: Should not have reached his/ her 55th birth day by deadline for
submission of application
e) Tenure: Five (5) years contract renewable once on satisfactory performance
Competences required
a) Evidence of team leadership including team building and individual professional development
b) Good communication and interpersonal skills with proven ability to build productive
relationship with senior management, employees and external stakeholders
c) Advanced Information Technology and numeracy skills
d) Proven experience of formulating and implementing strategic plans that reflect and support organizational needs
