JOB DETAILS:
Job Purpose
We are looking for a passionate proactive and professional auxiliary employee who will support the Medical Devices Supervisor in the day-to-day activities of the company, including customer visits, market assessment, sales follow-up, regulatory documentation and general medical-device operations.
If you are an early-career Medical Laboratory officer or Medical Radiography professional interested in developing a career in medical devices, diagnostics, sales and business development.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Supervisor with customer visits and market assessments.
- Collect information on equipment installed at hospitals, laboratories and diagnostic centers.
- Record equipment brands, models, and condition, workload and customer requirements.
- Assist in identifying potential customers and sales opportunities.
- Maintain and update the customer database.
- Follow up customers after visits, quotations and product presentations.
- Assist with product presentations and demonstrations.
- Support preparation of quotations, technical documents and tender documentation.
- Search and track relevant medical-device tenders and procurement opportunities.
- Assist with NDA and other regulatory documentation.
- Maintain organized product, registration and compliance records.
- Support monitoring of competitor products and market activities.
- Prepare weekly customer visit and activity reports.
- Perform other related duties assigned by the Medical Devices Supervisor.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology/Science OR Medical Radiography/Medical Imaging.
- Registered/eligible for registration with the relevant professional body in Uganda.
- Valid practicing license
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic computer skills.
- Willingness to travel for customer visits.
Experience
- Fresh graduates and junior professionals are encouraged to apply.
- 0–2 years of experience is an added advantage
- Previous exposure to laboratory equipment, imaging equipment, medical devices or healthcare sales is an advantage.
