Invitation To Tender For Consultancy Services tender at WaterAid

WaterAid Uganda invites suitably qualified and experienced consulting firms or consortia to submit proposals for the consultancy assignment below;

CARFEWW Project: Feasibility Study, Design and Construction Supervision of Three Climate-Resilient Faecal Sludge Treatment Plants.

TENDER REFERENCE: WAU/RFP/2026/001

The Government of the Republic of Uganda, represented by the Ministry of Water and Environment (MWE) as the Implementing Entity, has received funding from the Adaptation Fund to implement the CARFEWW Project, with WaterAid Uganda serving as the Executing Entity.

WaterAid Uganda invites qualified consulting firms or consortia to submit proposals for consultancy services to support the development of three climate-resilient Faecal Sludge Treatment Plants (FSTPs) in the Mpologoma Catchment. The assignment will cover feasibility studies, site assessments, detailed engineering designs, technical specifications, tender documentation, construction supervision, quality assurance support, commissioning support and related reporting.

SUBMISSION DEADLINE

Wednesday, 9 September 2026 at 5:00 PM East Africa Time (EAT)

SUBMISSION OF PROPOSALS

All proposals must be submitted electronically to  wauprocurement@wateraid.org  quoting the tender reference number in the email subject line.

CLARIFICATIONS

Requests for clarification should be submitted by email to  wauprocurement@wateraid.org  no later than Monday, 31 August 2026 at 5:00 PM EAT.

Responses will be consolidated and shared with all interested bidders by Thursday, 3 September 2026.

Late submissions shall not be considered.

WaterAid Uganda reserves the right to accept or reject proposals or annul the procurement process in accordance with its procurement procedures.
