CARE International in Uganda seeks to recruit highly motivated and qualified professional to fill the following position:
Location: Fort Portal with regular travels to the field .
CARE is looking for a qualified Ugandan for this role. The consortium Manager ((M) is responsible for managing a Protection consortium of five international NGOs led by CARE and including tour local implementing partners, targeting south Sudanese and Congolese refugees. S/he will facilitate a participatory approach in project management, supervision, planning, implementation and coordination among Consortium partners operating across various refugee settlements. S/he will oversee project management, administration, procurement, financial and human resource management according to CARE and donor rules and regulations. 5/he will ensure effective implementation of project visibility and communication plan. S/he will communicate regularly with CARE senior management and (ARE global teams, s/he will facilitate the integration of the project with CARE's humanitarian and long-term development programming. s/he will act as (ARE's and the Consortium primary representative for the project at field, national, and international platforms. S/he will facilitate smooth coordination between the Consortium partners and Government agencies, UN agencies and other INGOs in Protection to avoid duplication, leverage comparative strengths, and contribute to joint advocacy.
